Lighting
For optimal use of an indoor or outdoor arena, lighting is needed. You undoubtedly recognize the situation: not being able to ride because of to little light in the arena. The days are getting shorter in the spring and in the fall, you get home from work late, or maybe you just want to ride for an hour longer. With our lighting solutions, all this is history.
We offer you the choice between two types of lamps: the well-known Halogen lamp and the HQI-T gas-discharge lamp. The best choice heavily depends on intended use. We are happy to help you with advice.
If you make only sparse use of lighting, we advice you to chose Halogen lamps because of the initial cost of the lamps. If you use lighting more often we advice you to chose HQI-T lamps, as these use less power, live longer and need less maintenance. This type of lamp is also influenced less by weather conditions such as wind and high and low temperatures. You should choose HQI-T if you will use lighting for more than 600 hours per year.
Pole
The height and the amount of poles depends on the intended use of the lighting and the size of the arena. The principle is: the higher the pole, less shadow and higher loss of light. So, it depends on what you do with your arena. You need more light when jumping, and less when doing dressage. The requirements also depend on the type of use: professionally or amateur. And it depends on the size of the arena.
